Harding and Carbone, Inc. (H&C) agrees to serve as property tax consultants for the properties owned or controlled (Client). Tax protests will be pursued only where, in the opinion of H&C, a reduction potential exists, unless otherwise instructed by client. This agreement shall be in effect for the current tax year and shall be ongoing thereafter until either party gives 30 day written notice.

Contingency and flat fees are billed upon completion of protest based on prior years' tax rate. All fees are subject to any applicable sales tax and due upon receipt of invoice. Invoice becomes delinquent after 30 days. Savings calculated based on the difference between the noticed value and the final value. Any properties added to this agreement will be at the same rate unless otherwise noted.

Client hereby designates H&C as the authorized agent and agrees to execute the assessor’s appointment of agent form. Client agrees to timely respond to all information requests and acknowledges failure to do so could jeopardize H&C’s ability to secure a tax reduction.

H&C has not and does not make any guaranty, representation, or warranty as to the appeal results. H&C’s recommendations, advice, and opinions are based on sound knowledge of valuation, appraisal, and assessing theory on both a national and local level. It is understood and agreed that H&C is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or opinions. When warranted, we will advise client of the option to retain legal counsel, all such fees shall be borne by client.
